As a writer, I focus on showing realities that mainstream media often overlooks to elevate voices that deserve to be heard. My journey through traveling to different places in the world, working in the kitchen, has shaped me by believing that sharing stories is a powerful way of looking for change.

After a decade working as a Pastry chef, I realize that while I love creating art through cooking, my passion is reporting and writing to advocate justice and social change. As a bilingual journalist, I’m dedicated to sharing stories from the Latinx community, immigration, and politics.
